BWRT (Brain Working Recursive Therapy) is an innovative therapeutic approach created by Terence Watts in 2011. It works directly with how your brain processes information and creates automatic responses to situations. BWRT can create permanent change in a very short period of time by targeting the root neural patterns behind unwanted responses, feelings, or behaviors.

BWRT works by accessing the gap between when your brain begins to respond to a trigger (about half a second before you become conscious of it) and when you become aware of your response. By intervening in this gap, we can change automatic reactions at their source.

Tony does not accept insurance. However, you may be able to submit a claim for reimbursement through your insurance provider.

For the most focused and effective experience, Tony recommends that you be alone during your session. This allows him to tune in directly to your energy without distraction. Pets are always welcome, but others should not be present unless specifically arranged in advance.

No special preparation is required, but it can be helpful to come with an open mind and a quiet space. You may also wish to reflect on your intentions beforehand or jot down a few questions or themes you'd like to explore.

There’s no need to send anything in advance unless you’re guided to do so. Tony works intuitively in the moment, without requiring photos or detailed background information. If there’s something specific you’d like him to be aware of, feel free to mention it at the start of your session.

We don’t record sessions, but clients are welcome to. Zoom has a built-in option, and for phone or WhatsApp sessions, you can use your own device. Simple instructions are available here.

If your session was recorded and you received a viewing link, you can typically download it by clicking the download icon (usually a downward arrow) on the video page. In some cases, right-clicking the video and selecting “Save video as…” may also work.
