Wrap It Up! December 2017
Wrap it up
"The best gifts are those we not only cherish but put to use."
Les Brown
Tis the season! There is an inevitable sense of closure happening. For many of us, the long nights of winter have crept into our bones, and we wish to simply hibernate or migrate, awaiting the light of the sun. In contrast, anticipation is also in the air. We are caught in the undercurrent of the season. The fairie lights, tree lights, candle lights, every light.
I know for me, this has always been a season when I am aware of my LOVEd ones the most. Not only for the required gathering of holiday cheer, yet also to remember that my loved ones each bring a candle to the dark of the long nights.
Winter has come.
Joy to the world....
Turn on the damn lights!!
For many, 2017 has been a year layered in loss and fear. This is a time where many, mostly subconsciously, will relive the traumas of the last few years. We have been hit hard with all sorts of curve balls lately. So many have just gone numb and desire to sleep until the new year. Yet, as a wise woman once said; "It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness."
Please remember to bring the light. Fear and worry have become the default setting of human nature. Go into your personal settings and choose to be LOVE, Power, Ease and Truth.
Before we close out the year, remember the great things that happened in your world this year. No matter how small they are, remember to share that with others. In doing so, you are choosing to focus on the light. Your light, which is the brightest of all.
Let's choose to shine that light for all to see.
Thanks for being the gift of you.
"As you say goodbye to lingering disappointments and unattended grief, you will discover that every person, situation and painful incident comes bearing gifts. "
Debbie Ford
