Come Along and Ride On A Fantastic Voyage August 2017
It's hard to believe it's August! Tony is just back from LA and there is a LOT going on! We had a partial lunar eclipse on August 7th. We also have a total lunar eclipse coming up on August 21st.
Not to mention everything else...
Here is an oldie but goodie from 2015 for this August..
I came across this quote from Robin Sharma the other day: "The space shuttle uses more fuel during its first three minutes after liftoff than during its entire voyage around the earth." It got me thinking about gravity. Then, it made me think about the amount of force it takes to achieve a successful liftoff for anything new. The sheer force of one's will to push through any resistance. To pierce through the atmosphere, knowing that, at any moment, there is a natural force that can drag you back down to the ground.
The first step toward creating any change, or to move into any new elevation of "BEING", can feel just plain hard.
The constant perseverance towards making that change needs to be our rocket fuel. We are constantly fighting the gravity of old fears, behaviors, thoughts and habits. For some of us, change is just plain ol' scary. Many of us live comfortably in the predictability of our everyday lives. Allowing for anything new can induce angst and confusion. As we fry our metal circuitry pondering why and how it's impossible to achieve liftoff... we forget that you can not get anywhere unless you are willing to move forward and allow for things to change.
Here are some reminders to best support you in your starship to your dream:
FREAK OUT! (this is totally optional). Yup, give yourself permission to have a rant and get scared... but only for a little bit of time. Then get into a breathing pattern or meditation to create a balance.... breathe in... breathe out.
DROP t he extra emotional baggage that creates more weight. The lighter you can be, the less gravitational pull you have. So lighten up, yo!
TRUST your instincts. Take time everyday to listen to your true heart.
FIND the excitement in the fear.
BECOME a witness. By finding the inner-witness who can be less judgmental (and can see what is really happening), we are able to create and see the different paths and choices before us.
TAKE a look at who is in charge of your actions. Find the roots of your feelings. Allow yourself to see what you can do to feel differently.
ALLOW room for change. Choose to see what new horizons lie before you, and how they expand your life and your overall view.
BE OPEN for support. Trust and know that you are supported more than you'll ever know.
Lastly, enjoy the ride!! You can see the Sun, Moon and Stars! ✨
LOVE your way!
Create a beautiful day!
